Starting to wonder about placement? Me Too



I have been playing about with my options being a 2nd year student. What doors will I open? What stones will I step on? I have two choices for my 3rd year at university, placement year or go onto my final year. I think I want to go on to do a placement year therefore I will have to conducts some research and look at companies/ businesses that have placement positions. Digital marketing and graphic design is the career I would love to get into, I need to read up on what it takes to be an A* candidate.  Thing like..

·         And a professional manner
I am starting to work on my CV which can be hard as you don’t want to sound cocky and arrogant however you do need to sell yourself as in. ‘I’m the best you will ever see, PICK ME!’

Having a CV is a must! it is important to sell your self, you need to ensure you are the best possible candidate for the job, make them need you! i recently found out that Microsoft, as good as a software as it is, doesn't cut it anymore. Get creative and show who you really are on your CV, make it interesting and sleek. Think before you start, who are you writing to, what are you applying for and most important what do they want? Starting our Business - Branding and Logos

Myself and Lisa are starting up a new graphic design company. We have went over names for the company and decided to go with ' Zig Zag', its easy, catchy, public will remember it and it is sometime that people know. We made up logos on Photoshop which took a total of 2 weeks as we also had to fit in time for university work and we had other deadlines to meet. However as it was only us two we had no back and forth with clients therefore it took far less time to come to the final agreement on the logo.
