Mock ups for Titanic SA Belfast

Colin, the owner for TSA Belfast has give me the opportunity to draw up some logos and branding for the company. the original name for the serviced accommodation was 'Emerald Apartments', however as the colours was going for a green type of theme the name was changed over to titanic a week later meaning I had to re-do all of the logos and changed the colour scheme to something colour neutral as the business is based in northern Ireland it seemed best to do so. 

I had 10 or so mock ups that I had to scratch but I kept them all to use in my portfolio for placement. i made the Titanic logos and presented them to Colin in a book made from In design so he could take it away and show the co-owners and i waited for feedback on changes that was needed or if they had picked one. They had liked one of the mock ups but wanted a white background as it would then be easy to transfer on to flyers, web pages, anything print form.

Starting our Business - Branding and Logos

Myself and Lisa are starting up a new graphic design company. We have went over names for the company and decided to go with ' Zig Zag', its easy, catchy, public will remember it and it is sometime that people know. We made up logos on Photoshop which took a total of 2 weeks as we also had to fit in time for university work and we had other deadlines to meet. However as it was only us two we had no back and forth with clients therefore it took far less time to come to the final agreement on the logo.

Final Placement Prep

Now that my Placement has been confirmed by both my University and employer I had a phone call with Colin ensuring that I will be Prepared on what tasks and projects I will need to do and will be working on during my time at Titanic SA Belfast. Tasks and Projects will include: Social Media Updates Make Graphics for Social media and website Film Adverts and Property Tours  Edit Tours and upload to Sites Advertise Properties Keep on top of Events in Belfast and Adverts for them  To do all of this I made sure I had all the correct software i.e. Adobe After Effects, Photo Shop, Rent AC90 cameras for Filming, all social media account log in details Etc.  On my First day Colin will go over what needs done and the deadlines for each of the projects.
