Placement: Step One - Apply
Finding placement can be difficult, you need to start by thinking what you want to gain experience in. are you looking to expand in coding, motion graphics, branding, advertising find your groove.
Then start to apply and not just application to jobs you need to apply yourself. Approach people get talking and get the word out that you are here to work! The last blog i posted was all about a creative CV which has some great links and tips on how to build an interesting and eye catching CV.
I have give my CV to many different company's and business' looking for junior designers as designing is what I want to do after a graduate. A great way to grab the attention of employer is when you are emailing address the boss, the main man/woman, this shows that you are genuinely wanting to work and not just doing it because you have to. If you are going into the office ask to speak to the managers or owner, putting your name to your face.
Then the waiting game begins..
